Venturing Out

OK....I have actually been on blogger for a while now. Over a year! Normally I am not a slow learner, but time and other things have kept me from doing very much with my little blogging life. Part of the reason I love blogging I think is for the challenge! I have really had no one to help me. My son helped a little in the beginning, but now he has other things to do, so...I'm on my own.

I put on my big girl pants and started learning for myself!
You've probably noticed if you've been here much that it never looks the same here!
I'm always experimenting and finding new and different things. Now I'm going to be playing with my pictures for a while, so excuse the mess while I make more progress!!

You are doing a wonderful job on your blog. I read several pages of it a week or so ago and I just loved it. I don't have any sisters, but my Dad, Mom and I went to Mt. LeConte.
Eight hours on horseback-is that how you got up there.LOL Not everyone could relate to that story, but I can. I got off of the horse on top of the mountain and I was so stiff I just threw my leg right over the hitching post.:)

Oh my...you rode horses???? I didn't even know that was an option! We actually hiked up....took us about 6 hours on Alum Cave Bluff Trail. There are lots of different trails up, and I've ran across llamas, but I'm jealous because I would LOVE to go on horse back...although...I would definitely have to step up the exercising to make it up there any way at all......it's been a few years Sherry! Fun to talk to someone who knows our "neck of the woods"!

These photos are beautiful. The lighting is wonderful. I do enjoy photos. I was looking at your blog earlier (thank you for the very kind comment on my blog today) and my husband saw over my shoulder your room with the gate leg table and said, "That's our kind of room." So many kindred spirits we find in the blogging world.
