- I am a very happy wife of 32 years. A mother to three awesome sons and one beautiful daughter. I have homeschooled for 24+ years. I have a deep love for all things old. People, art, material things, lost crafts. I am a crazy lover of The Lord, always seeking to draw closer to Him. My blog title came from my husband who started calling me Sunshine the day we met. Over the years the name was shortened to Shine and sometimes I wonder if he really even knows my given name!!! I am not an eloquent writer, not gifted that way as so many bloggers are....I just have a heart to share things with my friends and family that are far away yet so very dear to my heart<3.

Anna's Treasure
Today Anna had to go to her quarterly diabetes clinic. While waiting, she made this pretty bracelet for me. It is a treasure I will keep for always.

Hi Shine! What a sweet thought, and what a lovely view you have from your chair! Your picture of the room really inspires a feeling of rest and peace. I have a little antique spinning wheel very similar to the one that you have behind the couch, but mine has a couple of major pieces missing. I love to look at it though and imagine who the women were who owned it before me and what their lives might have been like. :) Have a lovely evening and a nice weekend ahead! Delisa ;)
