Like I said. Functional.
Great appliances, but, well you know...stainless!!!!! I want it!!!
Anyway...no new appliances for me. Mine work! All Jenn-Aire and in great shape...sooooo. They stay. I'm very thankful for my things actually (though I know it doesn't sound like it:). Now my kitchen looks like this.
Notice anything different?
Something small truly makes me so happy!
How about a closer look? |
Hardware!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!
Also. Another change in my dining room has made me smile.

And after.
Yep! Mr. T. whipped out this beautiful mantle for the fireplace just for me! He's so sweet to me. I love it! Makes the room feel so homey.
Well....just thought I'd share my small makeovers with you this evening. We're snowed in here tonight....totally. It's great though. I have thoroughly enjoyed being home, snuggling with the kiddos, getting things done around here. Just being home...it's a very good thing.Blessings to you all.

I can completely relate to how you feel about the kitchen...although some of my cabinets are not even very functional. The new hardware is great! And, love the mantel!
I've started up a new blog. Add me to your list! : )

Small makeovers are delightful! Like a weekend vacation... refreshing.
Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog, btw. :) Blessings... Polly
Oh, I know why Your home reminds me of home. This fireplace is almost identical to one in my KY home. Mantel and all! So beautiful.

Well I don't find my comment so I must have done it mentally but not followed through. Your new hardware does add a lot to the kitchen, amazing isn't it? We did that and it looked so good I decided to delay painting the cabinets. Also the soup and bread look great. I wonder if I could do the bread without the dutch oven (this is sounding so familiar that now I really think I already commented ... maybe on another post?)..I just got rid of our dutch oven. Hmmm
Love your kitchen and the new hardware looks GREAT! Isn't it wonderful having a mantle to decorate and cozy up the fireplace! Mr "T"'s done a wonderful job!!! I'm like you...my favoriet place is just being "HOME"!!!
Blessings Sweetie!
